Prologue

I can’t promise you a happy ending. Our story is not a pretty one. Our history is bloody and desperate. If you’re looking for a heart warming tale, then I can’t give you that.

Throughout this, I can only ever promise to hurt you. I am familiar with my ancestors’ history, you’re not. But I’ll tell you, if you want.

Hmm? Me? I’m not important. Not yet, anyway. There are six generations to go yet before I’ll tell you anything of interest about me.

All you need to know is that I am one who hopes to finally end this. For six generations my family has been tortured, murdered, raped, and made to suffer. And it all started with one of my ancestors, and one spiteful witch.

You still want to hear it? Fine. But before we start-

Thank you. Thank you for listening to me speak. You don’t know how much that means to me.

I’ll be happy to tell you everything. After all, if this goes wrong, you will be the last person I talk to.

Like the intro. Very intriguing. I like dark and twisted stories so this should be fun. πŸ™‚

Thank you ^^ I think I wrote the whole thing in a couple of minutes, haha. One of those where my characters don’t shut up until I’ve written everything they’re telling me to write ^^ This one’s been very cooperative πŸ™‚

Intriguing intro and I really like the conversational perspective you’ve chosen for your story. Unique and refreshing.

Thank you, I’m glad you like my approach ^^ It’s very different to what I usually write, so this is refreshing for me as well πŸ™‚
