Liebster Award

liebster-award You guys have done it again, I don’t really know what to say any more! :’) This nomination came from french_vanilla13 – if you haven’t already checked out her story A Clockwork Heart, do so now. Ella commands you!

If you guys wouldn’t mind terribly, I won’t nominate anyone else since I’ve already nominated some wonderful stories here. Feel free to have a look if you don’t believe me ^^

Sadly, the other few stories I can still think off which would be very worthy have been inactive for a very long time and seem to have been ended before their time (a moment, please) If they do make a comeback I’ll list them immediately!

Accepting the nomination comes with these conditions:

1. Post the award on your blog.

2. Thank the blogger who presented the award and link back to their blog.

3. Nominate 5-11 bloggers whom you feel deserve this award and have fewer than or equal to 3,000 followers.

4. Answer 11 questions posted by the nominator, and ask your nominees 11 questions.

Now, Tris, to answer your questions-

1. Why do you play the sims and(for the non sim blogs)why do you blog?

I started playing the sims because it was fun. So. much. fun. Now, ironically, I can’t play any one sim just for fun any more. I suppose once you have five blogs on the go your regular just-for-fun game gets boring quickly and feels pointless. In my case, that is.

As far as blogging is concerned – that’s also a lot of fun 🙂 I’ve got more than enough blogs on the go now to know a thing or two, and enjoy it a lot! Plus your comments tend to make my day, so there’s that 🙂

2. Which (sims) supernatural species would you be if you could?

Probably a vampire – oooh, or a witch!! – but let’s go through the options:

Fairies – cute, but nuh.

Werewolves – I spent too much time shaving any unwanted hair just for me to grow more unwanted hair every full moon, so that’s definitely a no.

Genie – I never played with genies much, so I don’t actually know exactly what they do. I don’t trust things I don’t know, so no.

Mermaids – Have you seen my TS3 Going Solo challenge??? No, thank you.

Vampire – My first choice, as you’ve seen. Living forever is pretty fucking tempting, let me tell you! All the things I could do… You ever get those days which seem to short for the stuff you want/need to do? That wouldn’t be a problem. Although, granted we’re talking real vampires and not that sparkly Twilight crap, I don’t fancy dying when I step into the sun. I love summer, so that spoils things. The sun screen from this game would work (minus the sparkles) but it’s too much hassle. Every time I go out? Knowing myself I’d forget, and then what? 😦

Witch – Pretty tempting. Magic would be amazing, and I could figure out a way to live a long life as a witch, too.

So there you go, I’d be a witch 🙂

(Tell me if I forgot anything)

3. What are some things you’re passionate about and why? Like supporting endangered animals, women’s shelters, etc.

I love animals and actually do give money to two charities every month! Our cat came from a rescue shelter supported by one of the charities I support.

Moving away from charities, did I ever mention I studied Photography? (*ahem* if you read through my Whisper’s answers as well you must be getting pretty fed up with me by now! just remember – they asked) I also do karate once a week, and play a lot of games in the bit of free time I find.

4. What is your favorite blog that you’ve read?

Come now, mustn’t pick favourites 😉 That wouldn’t be very fair now, would it! ^^

5. What is your favorite blog that you’ve written?

Hmm, that’s difficult. I love all my blogs equally, of course, but naturally my rainbowcy holds a special place in my heart, since that was my first sims blog. At the moment I also love my TS3 Going Solo challenge, and of course I love this. As some of you might know or remember me saying before, I started The Seven Fates Of Night to have an outlet for the things I couldn’t put into my other blogs. I didn’t know it would get the feedback it has received, but I enjoy writing it a lot since writing it comes so easily. The final heiress has been very cooperative and vocal with me, which has made writing this a breeze for the most part.

6. If you could live anywhere in the world that you wanted, where would that be?

Roughly nine years ago I would have said ‘England’ immediately, without another thought. Now that I’m actually here, with a perfect boyfriend and a cat to boot, I’m pretty happy 🙂 I am exactly where I always wanted to be, so I apologise if my answer is boring compared to what you were hoping for 🙂

7. Have any of your dreams ever inspired your writing? If so, what dream?

Hmm, that’s a tough one, because if any of my dreams ever did inspire my writing I’m not very likely to remember it now. I do remember a lot of dreams, but more often than not they don’t stay in my memory for more than a few hours, rarely more than a day. I’m afraid the best I can do is ‘maybe’ :/

8. Do you have any grand plans for your writing or any particular sims story that you can share?

*ahem* *Tris, you minx!!*

Wait a little while longer and see 🙂 Patience, my friends.

9. If there was one person you could chose not to meet, would you do so and how do you think your life would have been different?

No. I’m very happy to admit that I didn’t have an easy life until I moved here. My sister died when I was young, I hated my father’s guts, I was bullied in school for many years and I wanted to kill myself several times, and I had mental health problems, but I wouldn’t change any of it if I could, because god only knows what I’d be like now if just one of those things hadn’t happened. I’m very happy with who I am now (ignore the occasional moments of ‘I’M FAT!!’ or ‘I hate myself!’ Who doesn’t get those? Exactly, so those don’t count) and wouldn’t change it for the world.

Don’t misunderstand me wrong, though. I love my sister, and I miss her a lot and not a day goes by without me thinking about her despite me barely remembering anything about her, but nothing good can come off resurrecting the dead. It’s not something to meddle with, so, no matter how much I might want to, I wouldn’t. I’m pretty sure I’d never hear the last of it if the end of the world was my fault.

10. (For the simmers)What is your favorite EP of Sims? (Non-simmers)What is your favorite gaming system?

I loved Ambitions in TS3. Annoying as those professions can be (especially if you’re trying to reach the top of one, or complete a LTW associated with one) they are so much fun. Apart from the Ghost Hunter one. I’ll never touch that one again once Rose is done with it. Not for a very long time, that is.

11. If you could change one person’s life, who would it be and how?

Just the one? Depending on whose life would be affected a lot of good could come of this. I’ll get back to you on that one. If I remember.
